But today, finds me in a whimsical mood, thinking this is overvalued on hype and there is little point in trying to analyse when there is next to no one on the other side of the argument that doesn't either express faith or talk shallow analytical nonsense.
Perhaps shorting would be a good thing to do if it was easy enough.
I suppose all i need is someone willing to contract with me (someone long and with shares they don't mind lending) for the loan an amount of stock I'm be wanting to exposure too.
I never really looked at this because a) I prefer positive views on things and b) this is probably even more true I haven;t had the funds to commit on a scale that most standard short lenders would probably want me to put up - in short I made an assessment that shorting was too much overhead for too little return with the amount of capital I had on hand ready to commit - now I;m thinking maybe if I could short for a few thousand it might be interesting.
Wonder if there is any way to do that?
Put options perhaps? But I'm not so much sure about time frames of bad news = I'm just sure that this is overhyped again on the basis on my opinion of the content of the hotcopper analytical commentary compared with the Mesoblast actual statements and my own ability to predict what this stock was going to do in terms of get knock backs previously.
