I posted research yesterday (I think yesterday) - several links that backed up that the biggest predictor of domestic violence - both perpetrators and victims - was if a child had experienced being in an environment of DV

and yes - I have witnessed many instances of mothers abusing children - and those children having violence and abuse as a normal - in their lives as adults

I can only imagine the situation of a child living in a small apartment with a controlling mother who was an abuser - omg

the only escape is the kids room ----------- IF they have a room and IF the mother treats that space as the childs territory -

and from some of the controlling women I've seen in life ------------ NOWHERE is out of their control and interference and power abuse bounds
