no.... theres no genetic predisposition found, but there is role modelling. many children of such offenders reject the parental models, as I did, and avoid repeating parental abuses.
so parental modelling can be an indicator, but by far from being "the biggest predictor" such is in reality one among many indicators of possible DV.
the closeness of the relationship to the offender is probably more of a "predictor".
