I think you need to see the consequences of no consequences.

Here is an example > Cailfornia has 3 cities with zero shops open now downtown. ZERO. They all closed down due to police being defunded and the state adopting a policy of soft on crime. That is shoplifting was to go unpunished. Police not to do anything at all to stop it. At first shoplifting started up cautiously and shops adapted by locking up favoured items behind closed cabinets. But then the gangs started and entire stores were all but emptied as 40 gang embers or more raided stores and other people seeing this joined in running off with their tvs and what not plus food and clothing. Still no police action so the shops closed. ALL OF THEM

Now the owners of those buildings can't meet their loan payments as the shops are vacant and they already had office vacancies. They hand the keys to the banks who now have properties worth less than the loans on them ( property price falls of 80% are documented and sold at ). The banks go bankrupt as well.

The shoplifters now have no shops at all. They have to travel further and further to get life essentials.....

The woke soft on crime mob have ZERO answers.

The consequences of no consequences are much harsher in the long term.
