There are actually some commonalities between a response to mmcc and DV. And many other social issues.

Responsible people who have been made aware of the problem are happy to do something about it. Whatever it is.

That's how the human race evolves. We strive to make things better. To make life better.


Those that resist these positive changes are the problem. They are greedy. They are selfish. They are gutless. No doubt they are masking their own failings.


lt's no coincidence that most of those on here that think that DV isn't a serious problem are the same ones that don't accept the general scientific consensus on mmcc. Or respect people in the gay community etc.

They are people with serious personal issues that refuse to do something about it. Spineless gutless little bullies.

As to the increase in DV going forward ?

. Like most issues, getting them out in the open and talking about them does wonders. Recognizing that we have a problem means that we can put services in place to help deal with them .
Look at the progress that has been made by people reporting pedophilia over the last 20 years . Look at the progress that has been made addressing mental health by talking about it.

Hopefully we can make similar progress with DV.
