Why would option holders who are expecting positive news or have access to "insider news" based on your logic exercise their options now when they can exercise weeks later at the same exercise price anyway?
I would be more worried if (1) they have access to news earlier than other sharehders, (2) they exercise now mainly because they want to sell out soon, (3) these supposedly "believers" are pretty short-sighted and do not seem to understand how options work.
