last years result was skewed very much by the us gas price volatility - Macquarie supposedly made $250m profit in 3 days when gas prices went ballistic.
that won't be repeated.
don't forget the data centre business Airtrunk is going to be sold for around $15bn and Macq and their partner bought 88% for $3billion a few years back
may even be a special dividend next year if it all eventuates.
