inflation wasn't caused by the Morrison govt. it was the supply costs and labour shortages from covid that caused prices to rise.
where Morrison had an impact was his delaying the RBA interest rates rises, as other nations had done, when inflation showed its ugly head. 6 months delay doesn't seem a long time but inflationary pressures accumulated during that time and enable the inflation to have an effect on cost of living. had interest rates been increased at the early stage there may not have been the pressure to raise so fast or so high.
