Greenvale was first mapped by Qld Mines Department in1957. To put that into perspective, people born then have now retired. Greenvale town, railway to and Yabula began operating in 1974. Mining at Greenvale ceased 1995 due to residule resource being too low grade. The only thing to have changed is the name. Now its Sconi and to put it into perspective people being born today will not see Sconi re-open before they retire. Sconi is nothing but another Aus dud.
