Its official. First stage of the Roche-Phylogica collaboration has been successfully completed. Dr Anton Haselbeck, Head of Technologies from Roche's research and development unit mentioned innovation, new medicines, exciting research and Phylogica all in the one inspired thought.
According to a Media Release by Roche for the Ausbiotech 2010 Congress, the hunt is on for "Australia's best science to take global." Phylogica has clearly received the Roche imprimatur;
"In the past year we have established a research collaboration with Perth-based Phylogica. This partnership underscores our commitment to finding partners in Australia with novel technology platforms as well as therapies that could lead to the next step-change in medicine."
Roche has gone public in relation to its partnership with Phylogica; a very significant development. Its a red letter day for shareholders.
