310...fyi the Snowy 2.0 white elephant is proposed to be repeated at Borumba Dam, Imbil on the Sunshine Coast by QLD Hydro. Preliminary work and consents are underway.
The total project cost is now estimated to be $14.2 billion (was recently $12B - so escalating).
Hopefully scrapped with a change of Govt in QLD before any environmental damage is done to the area.
