I think your last statement is really key. People talk about manipulation all the time, but could it be that retail are just really bad at holding their shares and succumbing to emotions whilst instos are much better at being patient and calculative? As they say, in the stock market money moves from the impatient to the patient. WA1 is clear proof of this.
