    The below post is my opinion;

    It is a bit sad that after labor totally destroys telstra's shareprice it will get to ride in like a white knight with a deal to save the company! I think even with labor policy tls is starting to look cheap.

    Truth is labor has just about completed stage 1 of split telstra on behalf of media barrons campaign.

    Stage 2 appears to be kicking in with media barrons handing media rights to other iptv company's rather than foxtel.

    Just imagine where telstra shareprice would be with a coalition government - where investors are rewarded for taking risks and capital and property rights are respected.

    It is a pity tls management couldn't close the gap on the 14% versus 18% return on capital for fibre to the node investment the coalition was aiming for.

    If 2 mp's changed sides I reckon tls would rocket much more than if the labor party gets its NBN legislation through.

    Disclaimer: the above post is my opinion and is not to be used for making any decisions. It is posted purely for entertainment purposes.

    I have not stated a sentiment as the company is a political football but I have a position and hope it goes up.
