And here's further proof why we must be constantly alert to those within our midst whose sole aim is to overturn our Democratic way of life, even if its requires acts of extreme violence. From Today's Australian:

ASIO also revealed it had sought a warrant to question a suspect on two separate occasions for a total of five hours and 48 minutes

No doubt the same type of person who would have laughed at the inexorable rise to power of Hitler or Stalin, would be the same person who scoffs as the (self evident) existence of potential terrorists within our midst.
Constant vigilance is the best protection against potential, terrorists!
This news begs the question as to how we allowed potential terrorists to enter our country in the first place. Did we not learn from our experience in the war in the old Yugolslavia where a number of 'Aussies' went to fight in that conflict?
