If you hold WMI, as I have done, for a long-term investment & add 21,156 shares @ $1.418, you have done very well. I have no intention of selling which means the current share price offers little relevance. The dividends received to date have been excellent & future dividends are assured for at least 5 years.
The current share price is depressed by all those "traders" who took up shares @ $1.418 with the intention of a quick sale for a small profit. There will also be some who will make a small profit by selling after the shares go ex div. They will receive the dividend plus franking credits & make a small capital loss which would offset capital profits made elsewhere.
Shortly after those traders have finished selling the share price should appreciate considerably.
