but in russia putin never needed martial law or a war to curtail independant media , free speech ,political parties or candiacy for elections .
The two that were trying to run in russia on a peace ticket were disallowed - one had millions of signatures quite strong support . but we aren't interested in picking holes in russia ...only trying to find fault wioth Ukraine because they DARED to defend themselves against rusisa .
