As I've mentioned a few times, perhaps we should be exploring the spirit aspect, as that may fit better to what you seem to think the soul is. I've not bothered looking, or getting bogged down on either.
Based on what you claim where the soul goes after death, I'll quote a couple of verses that don't appear to agree with you.
Ez 18:4 - Behold, all souls are mine; the soul of the father as well as the soul of the son is mine: the soul who sins shall die. 18:20 - The soul who sins shall die...............
