Just sitting here imagining the motivations of the broker. Usually if the client is a buyer the ageement is that the broker will sell X number of shares to the client at whatever the day's closing price is. So they try to buy all day long while not driving the price up too high, but they definitely want to see the day end on a high.
Let's see how this hour of power ends...
