Ever since then successive governments [ie. pollies] have been treating young Australians as $Milking $Cows as they diverted tax revenue to $Feed the $Greed of wealthy and privileged 5% [including pollies] of Australians still resentful that they no longer had exclusive access to universities.

Our pollies are drowning young Australians in $HECS $Debts, preventing them from accessing the property market due to their $Greed-$Feeding strategies of negative gearing and capital gains concessions to fuel our Ponzi property sector. They've even run a machete through unemployment support and skills training so they could directly divert as much tax revenue as possible to our wealthiest 5%.

For good measure, Howard even imposed the biggest tax rise in Australian History - his 10%GST that slugged young Australians and battlers hardest of all.

Scrapping HECs is consistent with Australia's core values, continuing with it is contrary to them.
