500,000 Putinist fighters can't be smoked quickly in any near term offensive without significant Ukrainian losses. The invader's mass is just to great.

I'm not a military person and my experience with one peace keeping zone doesn't say much.

That said, I expect the truth to sit somewhere between what the US is saying and Denys' expectations. ..... . because even Russian tolerances for loss and pain in an expeditionary war are limited. Putin may not care about losing a whole BTG every day but others will.

The Pentagon should understand that to shift this war to Ukraine's advantage requires time and the supply of the type of weapons which give an asymmetric advantage to a defender.

The greatest risk to Ukraine and the rest of Europe is Trump.
