It’s all very interesting indeed. I was just watching an investment vid regarding BHP’s rejected offer. The vid appeared to be British based. They were discussing possibilities of mergers or takeovers of Rio Tinto by BHP. That would be like a blue whale trying to swallow a hump back. It would not look pretty. I wasn’t sure if he was serious or not, but he seemed keen.
Anyway, Rio seems to talk a lot about what they want, lithium etc., but never seem to make a play for anything. Quiet achiever perhaps? I think we will see a bit more M&A activity perhaps in H2 of 24’.
