Depends on your perspective Stevo. Several sources have the average wage in the Argentinian lithium industry at US$1000 per month in 2020. Let’s adjust for inflation and call it US$1250 per month now:
US$1250 per month x 12 = US$15,000 average annual salary
US$15k = ~A$23k
A$23k x 200 = $4.6m annual wage spend.
$22m doesn’t sound frugal at all to me, noting the average wage for 200 people in the Argentina lithium industry should be closer to around $5m per year. Those filters must be bloody expensive, the extra $17m had to go somewhere…..
