And it very well CAN be a witch hunt...
And whilst he has his own agenda and like em all are prone to self-serving statements and actions...he resonates with the folks cause he at least - even if it only with lipservice -.lets em know he sees them, hears them and will work to help them
The other mob simply don't do that unless you're one of the victim groups they've created...black gay trans or an illegal...the folks see the Dems as having them as their priority and DT clearly doesnt but has the rest of the place... the ones you deign to call the "Rust belt" and others call "Rednecks" or of course "Deplorables" or the "fly-over states"...all indicative of disdain.
