Thanks champ. Lots of credible sources showing sodium-ion being much safer and cheaper than lithium.
As for energy density, this is just a matter of evolving technology. One such example is this company below already manufacturing them comparable lithium.
Another major factor is lithium performance in extreme conditions. Performance and range dies in the ass especially in cold temperatures, where sodium-ion exhibit minimal performance degradation in the same conditions.
