Yes a share purchase plan does usually surprise without warning however a placement is quite often signalled when we see a sp being kept low as has been very successfully acheived this week.

Soph Investors will be notified in advance by way of a participation offer, however they will not know the offer price until Ann day, hence the importance of keeping the sp down.

The offer will usually be a 20% discount to the av sp over previous 5 days.

If these same Sophs can sell on market above this price and by the same token keep the the sp down to guarantee a better discount... why not?
