At the bottom of the list of experiences under the belt of this research scientist is helping to set up a new research lab in the last 2-1/2 years he has been with the company in Houston, Texas, where, unless I am wrong, Lonza also has a facility. So research and outsouced manufacturing are likely working quite closely together, and more closely than we know.
This is really good to know, now that we know how crucial and intertwined CMC, potency and MoA issues are to the success of cell therapies as well as their approval by the FDA.
