I accept that it's bad to give troll types what they want. OTOH misinformation and other malicious things need to be efficiently debunked. There are plenty of people who might fall for it. For example, I suspect the demographic drawn to Hotcopper might have a higher percentage of clueless boomer males, some of whom could benefit from sensible ripostes.
Even if you have a clue, it's not foolish to be outraged or annoyed by it.
