As we know this is how many men will be in detention in one location very close to the township of Northam in Western Australia. Families are worried about the safety of themselves and their children. Who else thinks this is an outrageous amount of bored, disenfranchised men shacked up together for what will be an extended amount of time? If it was me, I would me moving my family away for their safety. Security alone is going to cost an absolute fortune,even though I think it will be impossible to enforce in such a potentially powder keg situation.
It is really really stupid to put such a huge amount of men in an emotionally charged environment like that. Really stupid and dangerous. They should be split up and dotted around the country so there is a smaller security risk.
I see nothing but trouble coming from this. It wouldn't matter what nationality the men were.Its just plain stupid.
