This basically answers my question. So you drew it up yourself...
You're looking at a mountain formation in 2D, the differences in colours don't indicate changes in elevation.
There's no crater, so grouping the mineralisation/hits factors in absolutely nothing and gives little indication as to why decent RE patches were found where they were.
