Good story about the Hill of Grace and an excellent vintage. In that region the even numbers in the 90s (90, 92, 94 etc) were all excellent. Regarding the current prices, it's more prestige buying rather than wine investing and the price reflects the rarity. Most of the 1990 would have been drunk or are well past it due to them not being nurtured. The ullage is usually a dead give-away.
