I think for long term holders there’s no downside really.
we are in the middle of building our ‘final’ home - 970 wide doorways etc to allow for wheel chairs etc (hope we won’t need them but best to prepare). Not a step or stair anywhere. Our oldest daughter is back for a week - she is working in Canada for 2 years. Going a lot better than the disastrous year in England in 2020!
