When you close the coldest stations ( the BOM closed our coldest mainland station ) and do hardly any temperature checks in the South Pole then of course the average goes up. A mathematical illusion for the uneducated masses to consume.
Meanwhile NOAA data away from any urban heating shows NIL temperature change.
