Question: Has the US government been buying gold?
They are the only country that never declare their gold buying or reserves. There is conjecture with regard to US gold holdings. If they have been buying gold and it became known, it would put a rocket under the gold price. I think they use the media to shine the light on China’s gold purchases to take focus away from themselves.
