    if you properly read my post and werent so worried about labeling everyone you would have seen my mentioning of the subjects that are outdated in your video.

    In regards to what you said about blades, I didnt relise they were using composites in these already so i appreciate the info, but a very preliminary search shows theres only one mob in Aus doing composites of the nacelles, blades and towers, and they are still not at the stage they can recycle all of it. So my point is still valid, chances are in the near future the whole thing will still predominantly be metal in some form.

    There are a couple of university studies published on recycling wind turbine assets and they arent pleasent reading.

    Im not sure why you would be posting on a discussion forum if all you want is to ridicule people and arent interested in learning or helping others, but here we are.

    Anyway if anyone is interested in reading more, sika australia have some great info about wind turbines on their site, and University of SA has published some interesting studys on end of life plns for wind turbines and manufacture processes that could negate the long term benefits.
