Yeh exactly mate, that's why I chipped in with my "lousy" purchase amounts haha.. which I'm very happy to do. Im a bricky and similar to you I run a (very) small business.. Our industry has been booming since Covid and I thought I don't want to waste the extra money on jet skis and bintangs like many others in my position so I did some reading and turned to the stock market. $50 a week minimum into the stock account, more when I can, very long term horizon and hopefully one day it can be worth a bit more. Haven't got a goal or figure in mind.. obviously more the better but as long as the portfolio is green down the track then I'd consider it money not wasted and a win
