I'm a little bit green in all this and confess a few HC postings here have swayed me here and there.
You do get the rampers and doomsayers but I wonder if enough people read and act on the postings here to have an effect on the market? I supose they might for the day-trade shares as they seem to move on sentiment and a trader must be searching for a change in the tide as a sign to get in or out of the water.
Being a newbie, I start with tips from the likes of Inside Trader or David Haselhurst from the Bulettin, follow it up with a google search and and chatter on HC before making a buy.
My experience to date is that the basics of this 'system' are ok but I would be well ahead had I left all the tips for a few weeks before buying.
It seems that Inside Trader and Mr. Haselhurst are influential enough to generate a blip in the SP. Seeing a turn in the sp, I would panick and buy before the share settles back down. Most of these trades are shortish-medium term anyway (3 months to a year) and so an early dip in a volatile share doesn't overly worry me.
