I do agree, the chart movements and volumes are an insight to the minds of the people that are the market.
Humans have repeatable traits.
Hence a whole industry has grown around TA.

Gaps are my favorite chart item I like to watch.
Some companies' movement closes gaps within days, some months later. In varying ways, maybe a normal down trend or something as spectacular as a small day candle with an extremally long lower wick than the candle body that manages to just close a long past gap.

I do place more trust on a Friday/Monday gap being closed.

No not all gaps get closed. Especially in a company that has or is going through a re-rate, such as FMG has had recently and likely to again shortly.
DEG left a few gaps sub 10 cents after a re-rate to around $1.30 now.
