The US are trying to kill off Chinese EV imports before they actually start in earnest. What they are actually doing is signing a death warrant for GM & Ford. Already years behind EV manufacturers, this will accelerate the demise of these two, once great OEM’s.
China doesn’t need to dominate the US market. They are on target to decimate US, Japenese and European OEM’s in the ROW.
The market will react to the latest news on import tariffs and Ford reducing battery orders. Fact is, China’s EV domestic sales and exports will continue to accelerate.
