Actually it isn't. You need to look at the way the Magic Consortium developed the MBP score , they started by looking for three groups high , moderate and low risk, thats what you would expect to be needed with a heterogenous disease. But then as they looked more at the moderate group , it was discovered that they could continue splitting this group into high and low risk with still very high confidence so they dropped the moderate group and we now have high risk ( critically ill ) and low risk. To give you a clear understanding of how good our treatment is find me a study that has shown survival of patients that would be considered high risk by above method better than 50% at 12 months. Bet that any you find have been treated with MSCs.
