well, maybe that’s a critical part of the raise, logically it SHOULD mean that they were approached with an unexpected offer… which SHOULD mean it’s an institutional that wants in.
if investor confidence in QPM management wasn’t shot, I’m sure we’d have a few blue sky scenarios to spitball, pipeline expansion, into wanting a major stake at a small premium as they see growth potential, however I doubt that’s the case.
I think QPM owes holders a serious explanation if this isn’t some unexpected, positive scenario: -why say a CR isn’t being considered in QAR -why raise with a healthy cash position, govt rebates, line of credit available -why raise on the cusp of becoming cash flow positive, which will lift SP -why raise when SP is at its lowest, and it seems funding isn’t necessary,
even if this is for a positive purpose, looking at things long term, the SOI dilution from raising at such an awful SP can’t be worth needing cash to immediately start whatever this funding is for. It would be better to delay it 2-3 qtrs once positive cash flow is achieved and more detailed modelling of expansion and profits can be released to market and SP has lifted.
