I've seen a lot of practical applications in theory. no new ones yet to be produced.
sure there has been a long enough history of different "colours" of hydrogen for some industrial applications. but these have been limited to trials of buses and mixing with LNG for various purposes, including burning for energy production.
with hydrogen production beginning in '75 theres been slow uptake of hydrogen as a fuel or energy source.
but the IEA (link) says that demand has been "expanding rapidly".... must be in China.
