Cap, have tried to reply twice but HC has lost my posts both times !. Thoroughly agree with you, the level of reporting matches the (relatively poor) performance and the only things that have gone up are probably the fees and the divvy. There's no point in staying around for the divvy, if you are paying for it in a loss of capital! I hold WAM due to the t/o of WIC which was performing well - the consequences were never going to be OK ! Many have spoken in the past about these amalgamations being a fee grab, and in view of recent (and historical) poor performance, the story of a larger fund having more influence leverage and being more profitable, has not been proven truthful. Geoff has been a fierce supported of LICs, but with declining performance and visibility, perhaps its a losing battle ? I too will seek greener pastures !
