The fact is, I did buy when I said I did but they would have been about $5,000 worth at a time as I was only topping up & the small quantity purchased did little to my average purchase price.

In December 2008 I bought 886,652 shares for $13,299.78 or 1.5c per share which later became 15 cents per share after the 1 for 10 consolidation. This was, from memory, the exercising of options. There were other significant purchases @ 1.0c & 0.5c that became 10c & 5c after consolidation in December 2011.

If you have a significant number of shares at low prices it should be easy to comprehend that later buying small quantities at higher prices would not have too much effect on your average price.
