I find the whole "sell in May and go away" thing is very much a misunderstood phenomenon. The selling is isolated to those stocks that have suffered large declines and thus, can be used as a tax deduction. For other stocks that have been performing well however, this means there is a lot of cash floating around in need of a new home. WA1 seems like a very suitable home
