Just as an exercise let's say that BML gets 75% of its revenue from lead and 25% from silver (I know these aren't exact figures it's just an exercise). The money that it makes from mining the lead theoretically pays for the mining of the silver (yay we're mining silver for free). If the silver price were to even double, BML's revenue only increases 25%, whereas say IVR with 100% of its revenue coming from silver sees its revenue double. Point being, the more you are relying on by products the less you are in fact leveraged to the underlying commodity.
