I am not an Economist ktrianta (though I have studied several units). I would argue that 4 X $75 payments to households is hardly going to have much of an impact on inflation.
What will be interesting to see will be the overall impact of this budget on overall consumer spending, and to what extent that is inflationary. Is everyone with a tax cut going to rush out and go shopping? Or, are they going to use the tax cut to catch up with their bills, and perhaps save a little, maybe even try to pay down their mortgage if they have one? Time will tell.
