Yeah after lots of hunting I've found a couple of judgements to read through. One was from HK about the case mentioned in that Lawyers profile, where an injuction of some sort was denied due to the fact that the group bringing it did not have probate for Alex Brown's estate and thus had no grounds for lodging the injuction (sorry if my legal wording is off). The other ruling I found was an attempt in NZ by Tiger Brown to have some properties of his deceased father's transferred into his name. It appears this was denied until a case (or cases) contesting Alex Brown's will are sorted out. So it appears there may still be some action ongoing regarding Alex Brown's estate, and particularly whether Tiger Brown's does indeed have the controlling interest in Astron or if that could be contested. Although despite my best googlings I can't find details of any ongoing actions. Seems a little complicated to be honest.

On the plus side, in the Hong Kong judgement there was mention of a valuation of Astron at about $250 million, which seems about right to me, and a mention that share liquidity is the reason that this isn't reflected on the asx. So questions of ownership aside, Astron is way undervalued at current SP.
