yet CCS has not proved economically viable. if a company should decide to avoid the Albanese Govt upgrade to Abbott's Emissions Reduction plan they will pay dearly for trying to stuff Co2 into a hole in the ground. and the probability of CCS actually containing Co2 is reduced over time. note that Co2 needs to be contained for thousands of years. can they build such a container?

I don't see it working out well for any doing CCS..... far easier and cheaper to reduce their emissions.

Pump it back into the rock that holds the oil & gas, it will stay there for a very long time.
