    That direct line comes from a man named Klaus Schwab, and what he was referring to is the notion that ownership is dying, and it is being replaced with "for rent" and subscription services.

    This phrase which is grotesquely overused and taken out of context by conservative outrage culture is referring to things where it makes more sense for some people to choose to rent a service or pay for access to a thing rather than purchase the thing itself because they only need it temporarily or sparingly.

    What is the more likely reality however thanks to our housing bubble is "you will own nothing and never be happy"..... thanks to late stage capitalism.
