Agree I believe this is change is very significant. It completes a full sweep of the previous non-exec and introduces an experienced and well credentialed Chairman, someone with a laser focus on what is required by a board and its role is advancing PAA/MPL.
To me the chessmen are slowing being moved into place for a checkmate situation which allows MT to resume his role as CEO. I note JC still is only the interim CEO so the position remains open.
From the webinar JC while coming across as a very knowledgable person doesn't look completely comfortable in the role as the face and talking head on PAA. I believe the partnership of him (MD), MT (CEO) plus the now exciting board is perfect to carry PAA through to commercialization.
